Summer will be here before you know it and you know what that means: skimpy frocks and (dare I say it?!)…bathing suits. For some of us who have been hitting the Girl Scout Cookies pretty hard, it’s time to start thinking about getting our booty (and everywhere else) lifted and looking good.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. You only wear wetsuits or caftans while poolside. I hear ya. But, just in case your skin does see daylight, you might want to join me in my quest to drop a pound or two (or more!). So I’m stepping up my workouts and trying not to eat as much bread and sugar as I usually do. It’s torture, but I’m on a mission. (If I keep repeating this, I might actually stick with it.)
I definitely push myself harder in my workout when I listen to the right music on my iPod. Probably you do too. So, if you’re looking for a little inspiration, here’s my Lift That Booty Playlist. It’s a mix of Old School Disco and whatever young people call music today. If this doesn’t get your heart pumping, I don’t know what will. FYI, I’m convinced singing LOUDLY with the songs burns more calories (and makes you feel really happy), so by all means, SING! Now go break a sweat!
